Ambush, Plattsburgh,
NY, late 70's: Gene could scream on lead
guitar and
Jim was a great drummer from the minute he started playing.
Different Strings, Plattsburgh,
NY, 80/81: Tom Fleury and David Buran are still a big part of my life and we still create musical magic now
and then...not often enough!
The Kidds, Utica, NY,
81/82: Gained some good experience. Hi Mark...where are you?
Different Strings (duo),
Utica, NY, 82/83: Phil DeCarlo aka Philip Moon. I felt like part of the DeCarlo family. A great time in
my life...but alas, I met my wife, obtained the "real" job and got transfered to Watertown. Phil
is a natural. Killer voice and very musical. We complimented each others styles nicely. Who knows what
we could have done. I'm so glad to see Phil is back at it. Visit his web-site, philipmoon.com, by clicking the

Tangent, Watertown,
NY, mid 80's: Patty Dobbins. We got pretty polished near the end. I still have a great live recording from The Red Lion...What's up Patty?!?
Took a short break, mid 80's to early 00's:
Spent the better part of two decades playin' around the campfire...usually with my brother-in-law, Ralph. Ralph and
I have a lot in common. We both love music and an occasional Jim Beam and Coke...oh, and our wives are twins...go
figure! The family gigs are the best.
